Chic Venue Hire Terms & Conditions

  1. At no time will any alcoholic beverages be allowed to be brought into, or removed from our property by you or your guests 

  2. Chic Restaurant & Bar will at all times comply with the law and abide by the requirements of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. 

  3. We will not allow intoxicated persons to enter or remain on premises should they become intoxicated. They must leave the premises immediately without any conflicts as we are following Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. 

  4. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. These persons are allowed on premise until 10pm. 

  5. BYO is not available for functions!! 

  6. Chic Bar & Restaurant staff have the right to remove any patron from the premises if any of the terms & conditions are breached.

  7. Any bookings or cancelations for dinner reservations on the day of your event must be confirmed/ made known to our staff at least three days before the booking. Failure to do so will result in breach of this contract. 

  8. Numbers for events must be confirmed at least 3 days prior to the date of your event. If the attendance number is substantially lower than what was confirmed your bond will be deemed forfeit. 

  9. Damage to décor and/or property by hirer & party will be of the hirers risk and cost of repair. 

  10. The room is fitted with our own DJ and lighting equipment. We ask that no guests enter the DJ booth and/ or touch this equipment. Any issues that arise due to this will result in breach of this contract. 

  11. Any foods except birthday/event cakes are not allowed to be brought into/consumed on the premises. A variety of bar snacks are available and can be arranged for your event. 

  12. Your own decorations are allowed except confetti. No decorations are to be stuck to the wallpaper. If you’re still unsure, please talk to our staff about this. 

  13. Chic may run drink specials time to time. These drinks specials are exclusive to downstairs bar only and may be made available to functions at the management’s discretion.
